The book is split into three main sections, covering:
- The Rise and Fall of Rederi Ab Sally
- Sally Line UK
- Sally Line Finland
Each section looks at the history of that part of the company and at the vessels it operated over the years. Also looks at the reasons for the collapse of the company in the late 1980s. Fleet lists for each operator are also included.
The book is well-illustrated throughout with colour and black & white photographs and maps. 152 pages.
