Delivery Information
DELIVERY TO UK ADDRESSES
Orders are usually despatched by Royal Mail second class post, or in the case of heavier items by overnight delivery service that requires a signature on receipt.
Transit times are typically 3-5 days for Royal Mail items.
If part of an order is out of stock we may send part of your order at first, and any remaining items when they become available. Your card will only be charged for items shortly before the goods are despatched.
Order Processing Update
We are currently experiencing very high order volumes. We are working through orders as quickly as possible and we anticipate any orders placed now, where all items are in stock and for delivery to UK addresses, will be despatched before Christmas.
Where some items are not in stock, we generally hold orders until all items are in stock and despatch the complete order in a single consignment. However, we will be despatching part-orders during week commencing 20 December ahead of our Christmas and New Year shut down.
We are aware that orders to UK and overseas addresses are still taking much longer than usual to reach their destination so we cannot guarantee delivery before Christmas. Our offices will be closed from 17.00 on Thursday 23 December until 09.00 on Tuesday 4 January 2022.
If you are concerned about a late delivery then we thank you for your patience.
DELIVERY TO NON-UK ADDRESSES
Orders are usually despatched by printed papers mail service. Quoted delivery times are up to 7 working days to Europe and up to 28 working days to the rest of the world.
The ongoing difficulties arising from the Covid-19 pandemic mean we have been seeing much longer delivery times to many countries. Furthermore, the available capacity and cost of international flights changes on a daily basis. Our mail consolidator uses the best service available on the day, within achievable cost limits, which, whilst sometimes achieving a faster service than might otherwise be the case, can make deliveries appear erratic.
Going forward, we are working with the consolidator to find a more robust method of dispatch, but the current difficulties mean customers should expect slower deliveries than was usual before the Covid-19 pandemic.
To keep costs down we are trying to consolidate orders and mail to overseas destinations to avoid sending multiple packages in respect of a single order. Where one or more items are temporarily out of stock, we will hold orders for dispatch until all items are in stock. This may cause a slight delay in dispatch of some orders, for which we apologise. Your card will only be charged for items shortly before the goods are despatched.
The rules for trade between the UK and the EU have changed. Orders placed for delivery to addresses in the EU are likely to be subject to additional taxes and charges at the point of delivery. We strongly advise customers in the EU to read our Trade with the EU page for more information.
