A well-illustrated history of the DMS family of Daimler Fleetline vehicles which entered service in London from 1971 onwards. Introduced to allow one-man-operation, the vehicles proved to be inefficient and most were sold on by 1983. A small number of vehicles remained in service with other operators as late as 1993.
This book follows the history of the vehicles and their use in London with London Transport and other private operators. Well illustrated throughout with colour and black & white photographs.
