The third book in the London Trolleybus Depot series by author Hugh Taylor. The four depots featured in this volume are Stonebridge Park, Colindale, Finchley and Wood Green and information regarding the routes and the areas worked by each depot is also given. There are 257 black & white photographs which are presented as either full page or half page pictures and these show images taken in the depots, and vehicles operating on each of the main routes. Full details of destination blinds for each depot are shown, as are many paperwork items appertaining to these depots. Incorporated in this volume is a colour spread of 16 pages, featuring 27 photographs, 5 of which are displayed as full page images. The jewel in the crown has to be page 481 where a notebook, a timecard and a picture of the very last ever 627 to show Bruce Castle are illustrated together.
Also included in this volume are the London trolleybus memories of Acton enthusiast John Carwardine, who details trips on red rovers, visits to Colindale scrapyard and his activities on 8th May 1962. The last six pages in the volume are snow scenes, all taken on 31st December 1961. Overhead diagrams for each depot are included, loose, on four separate sheets.
