Cumbria Buses: Barrow in Furness – 1948 to 1989 contains colour and black & white photographs of many different bus types operating on numerous routes around the town. As well as documenting changes that have taken place over a 40 year period, the book is also a nostalgic romp through the buses of old that took the people of Barrow to school and to their work.
The author’s family photograph collection has been augmented with photographs from other enthusiasts and society archives. All photographs are captioned and the book contains additional information about many of the featured buses and routes. 48 pages.
