Part of British Bus Publishing’s British Bus Handbook series detailing the fleets of certain bus and express coach operators throughout Britain. British Bus Handbook Notable Independents is now on its ninth edition and contains detailed fleet lists of the bus and coach vehicles operated by independent companies who provide tendered and commercial bus services, primarily in England.
The operators included in this volume are smaller companies that do not form part of the major groups, each of which has its own dedicated British Bus Publishing handbook, or form part of any group, which can be found in the separate `Smaller Groups’ handbook.
For each operator the vehicles are listed in fleet number order with details of the chassis, bodywork, seating capacity and year of build provided for each type of vehicle. Fleet number, registration number and home garage (where allocated) are provided for every individual vehicle.
