Dieselstrecken zwischen Donau und Bodensee (Sutton Zeitreise)

£23.95
1 In Stock

An album of high quality colour photographs illustrating the remaining diesel-operated routes (at the time of publication) in southern Baden-Württemberg and the south-west corner of Bavaria, including the recently electrified Allgäubahn between Lindau and Kempten which was a regular haunt for the legendary Class 218 diesels for many years.

Other lines covered include the Bodenseegürtelbahn between Radolfzell and Friedrichshafen, the also recently electrified Neustadt–Donaueschingen section of the Höllentalbahn, and several branch lines and secondary routes such as Biessenhofen–Füssen, Radolfzell–Stockach and Immenstadt–Oberstdorf.

For each route there is a short description of the line and a selection of photos mostly dating from between the 1990s and the present day. There is a good mix of Class 218 loco-hauled trains and DMUs, including some operated by the Hohenzollerische Landesbahn as well as by DB.

120 pages. Hardback. German text. Published 2020.
