This DVD contains footage of the railways around Mansfelder Lane; an area in the southeastern Harz region of Germany.
The area is known for copper and slate mining, with a narrow gauge network of railways built to transport stone from the quarries to the main line railway network. As well as these 750mm gauge railways, most of which have closed, there are also scenic main line railways, including the route from Klostermansfeld to Wippra.
