An album of artistic colour photographs illustrating trains operating on lines through the Pennines during the last ten years. Photographs cover passenger and freight trains, as well as some special charter trains. All photographs feature trains set against the often dramatic Pennine scenery.
A range of locations are covered on line such as the Settle to Carlisle line, the Hope Valley, Copy Pit as well as many other lines around Lancashire and Yorkshire. Each photograph is presented in full-page format with a caption accompanying each image. A short introduction to the railways crossing the Pennines is also included, along with an introduction to the author. 128 pages.
