Each season has its own dedicated chapter, which each contain a series of high quality colour photographs taken in that season over the last 20-30 years. Photographs illustrate trains operating on the national railway network as well as at heritage locations around the country.
The range of photographs ranges from the mid -1980s to the present with the majority from the last two decades. Each image makes the most of the season, from golden brown landscapes in autumn to crisp and cold winter days.
