An entertaining and informative book, guiding the reader through some of London's many remaining disused Underground and main line railway structures.
The book contains a series of 12 walks and short tube or train journeys, devised by the author. Each takes in some of the forgotten and fascinating remains of former London Underground or main line railway structures around the city.
For each of the walks an introduction is provided along with details of the start and end point, plus estimated time to complete the walk. A map is also included and text provides directions as well as some background information about structures that can be seen along the way. Each chapter is well illustrated with recent colour photographs of locations which are passed on the walk. 128 pages
